Hi inDinero,
I saw your open Product Manager role in a LinkedIn email and was immediately interested. After watching interviews with Jessica from both 2010 and 2014, I'm enthusiastic about inDinero's origins, struggle, philosophy, and trajectory. And this role sounds like too good of a fit for me to ignore, given the intersection of my deep understanding of small business and experience in designing/leading development of software products.
10 years as inDinero's target market
• Understand pain points and easily able to empathize
• Oversaw (sometimes did) bookkeeping for a company ≈$1.4M annual revenue
• Acted as CFO/Controller in a two-entity corporate structure (purchasing, payables, cash flow, tax filing, compliance)
Managed products with priorities and constraints similar to inDinero's
• Recognized work that can be automated or simplified by software, including bookkeeping and back office functions
• Collaborated with Sales and Marketing function, as well as accomplishing these functions myself
• Built software that enabled and enhanced a service business, to deliver optimal client experience for minimal labor costs
• Partnered with off-shore delivery teams (sounds like most/all inDinero's engineering is in Manila), as well as with teams co-located with me
• Supported multiple delivery teams at once
In terms of skills and experience, sounds like a surprisingly great fit — don't you think? I know. I wasn't expecting it either. We're probably both thinking the same thing, right? Let's each say what we're thinking at the same time, and find out, okay?
Let's discuss over coffee!
I knew it. Since we're in agreement, just call/text me or shoot me an email, and we'll set the time and place. Meanwhile, enjoy your evening, inDinero! Talk soon.
